RIL, Tata Steel, Wipro, SJVN in spotlight As on : 25-Jul-23  08:51

Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors, Larsen & Toubro: Nifty constituents - Asian Paints, Bajaj Auto, Tata Motors and Larsen & Toubro will announce their Q1 results today.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL): RIL announced entering into an agreement to invest alongside Brookfield Infrastructure and Digital Realty in their Indian SPVs set up for developing data centers in India. RIL will hold 33.33% stake in each of the Indian SPVs and become an equal partner.

Tata Steel: The company's consolidated net profit dropped to Rs 525 crore in Q1 FY24 as against Rs 7714 crore recorded in Q1 FY23. Turnover declined year on year to Rs 59,490 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2023 from Rs 63,430 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2022. Profitability was affected by non-cash deferred tax charge on account of buy-in transaction at British Steel Pension Scheme.

Wipro: Wipro announced that Wipro FullStride Cloud has partnered with Pure Storage, a provider of enterprise data storage solutions, to help clients accelerate their sustainability journey through the power of technology. Wipro and Pure Storage will leverage their sustainability and technological expertise to incorporate sustainable technology industry best practices into clients' technology infrastructure.

SJVN: Government of Arunachal Pradesh has allotted five projects totalling 5097 MW to the company. The development of these projects will involve an investment of more than Rs 50,000 crores, while construction of these projects will reduce carbon emission in tune of around 1.1 million tonnes per year.

MIC Electronics: The company received Letter of Acceptance from Sambalpur Division of East-Coast Railway Zone. The aggregate value of the Work-Order is Rs. 3.56 crore.

BCL Industries: The company has successfully commissioned a 200 KLPD Ethanol dedicated brownfield expansion at Bhatinda, Punjab. The company has also commissioned a 10 MW Power Plant that will run on paddy straw.
