State Trading Corporation of India Ltd share price slipped 0.25% to Rs 121.7 after the company's net profit witnessed a sharp fall of 40.97% to Rs 9.77 crore, while revenue from operations remained flat to Rs 0.0 crore in Q1FY26 over Q4FY25. The market capitalization of Trading & Distributors industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 51230.74 crore, dropping 11.88%. It has improved by 2.78% over last one week and surged by 23.47% in last one month while the market capitalization of State Trading Corporation of India Ltd has marginally improved by 4.51% and 1.22% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of State Trading Corporation of India Ltd stood at Rs 13.39 crore in Q1 FY26, slipping 1.76% year-on-year, and declining 5.57% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 34 crore, crashing by 18.61% YoY and declining 3.37% sequentially. Total expenses rose by 15.60% to Rs 11.71 crore in Q1FY26 over Q1FY25. During the quarter, employee benefits expense was at Rs 5.46 crore, plunging by 15.22% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations remained flat , while net profit tanked by 51.54% to Rs 24.75 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA saw a sharp decline of 14409% to Rs 173.11 crore, and PBT dipped slightly 6.68% to Rs 47.89 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 170.78 crore in FY26, as against Rs 23.5 crore in FY25. State Trading Corporation of India Ltd declined by 0.49% in last one year, outperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has slipped by 4.88% during the same period.
