Saurashtra Cement Ltd share price inched up 0.61% to Rs 69.31 after the company's net profit tumbled by 51.51% to Rs 9.13 crore, while revenue from operations slightly gained 2.26% to Rs 456.75 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Cement & Cement Products industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 9.83 lakh crore, rising 3.41%. It has improved by 1.12% over last one week and gained upto 1.15% in last one month while the market capitalization of Saurashtra Cement Ltd has sharply increased by 22.05% and 8.28% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of Saurashtra Cement Ltd stood at Rs 11.96 crore in Q2 FY26, nosediving by 55.02% year-on-year, and slipping 6.05% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 15 crore, crashing by 48.00% YoY and tumbling by 30.84% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 3.42% to Rs 447.1 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 87.96 crore, inching up 4.91% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 28.34 crore, ticking higher by 6.26% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations dropped by 12.89% to Rs 1537.62 crore, while net profit tanked by 87.67% to Rs 6.98 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA jumped by 8853% to Rs 26.61 crore, and PBT collapsed by 84.34% to Rs 14.07 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 30.23 crore in FY26, as against Rs 155.1 crore in FY25. Saurashtra Cement Ltd crashed 43.76% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.64% during the same period.
